Kevin Callaway

Kevin Callaway was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated Cum Lade with a BA in Creative Writing and Italian. He was awarded Belmont University's Ruby P. Treadway Undergraduate Creative Writing Award. After graduating, he lived in Legnano, Italy, for two years where he taught English at a public high school. Shortly thereafter, he was hired to work on cruise ships as a Junior Assistant Purser. He completed two contracts on two different ships before deciding to move back to Los Angeles where he currently resides.

He enjoys hiking, photography, languages, boardgames, cooking and playing music. His academic interests include Futurism, the L.A.N.G.U.A.G.E poets, California Writers, Exestenialism, and translation. Kevin is currently working on his first collection of essays, tentativly titled Men Who Move Like Ghosts.
